Terms

These are the terms for using demobae, the website at demobae.com and the app at demob.ae. They are short because the product is simple. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

Who we are

demobae is operated by [legal entity], registered in [country]. “demobae”, “we” and “us” mean that entity.

What demobae is

demobae watches the YouTube channels of producers you choose to follow and tells you when they upload a beat. You can save beats to a Library, sort them into mixtapes, and keep a log of what you listened to. demobae is a tool for finding and organizing beats. It does not sell beats, host them, or license them.

Your account

You need an account to use the app. You must be 16 or older. Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under it. One person, one account.

The beats belong to the producers

Every beat you see in demobae was uploaded to YouTube by its producer, who owns it. demobae shows you public information about it and plays it through YouTube’s own player or a short preview. Saving a beat in demobae saves a reference to it. It does not give you a copy, a license, or any right to use it. If you want to use a beat, buy or lease it from the producer, on the terms they set. Links to producers’ stores and contacts are there to help you do that.

YouTube

demobae uses YouTube API Services. By using demobae you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. YouTube may change what is available, and a beat can disappear from demobae when it disappears from YouTube or is restricted. We show availability where we can but cannot promise it.

What you may not do

Do not use demobae to download, rip or redistribute beats. Do not scrape or bulk-export the catalog. Do not try to get around rate limits, availability restrictions or any security measure. Do not submit channels you know are not producers, or content that is unlawful. Do not resell access to demobae. We can suspend or close accounts that do these things.

Your data

What you follow, save and build in demobae is yours. You can export it or delete it at any time. We use it only to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy policy. demobae’s software, design and name are ours.

Price

Free includes catalog listening and Library. The upcoming Pro plan is $11/month. Paid-plan policies are not finalized, and paid plans are not available yet. We will publish the policies here and in the app before paid plans launch, and you will choose whether to pay. The planned 14-day Pro trial starts after first email verification, requires no card, and will not charge you automatically. Accounts created before the rollout cutoff will receive Forever Pro with no expiry or payment required; the cutoff date is still to be announced.

Availability and warranty

We work to keep demobae up and accurate, but it depends on YouTube and other services we do not control. demobae is provided as is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every upload will be caught. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, demobae is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for anything connected with demobae is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the service

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or end accounts that break these terms, and we can discontinue demobae with 30 days’ notice, during which you can export your data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so on this page and by email to account holders at least 14 days before it takes effect. Using demobae after that date means you accept the change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [governing law], and disputes go to the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you other rights.
